Poxet 60 mg is a Selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor medication that contains Dapoxetine as its main ingredients. This medication is used for the treatment of premature ejaculation in men and is available in the strengths of 30 mg, 60 mg, and 90 mg.
Poxet 60 mg Warnings:-
Metabolism of Poxet takes place with the help of enzymes present in kidneys and liver, These enzymes are cytochrome P450 (CYP) 2D6 and 3A4. Various interactions occurs due to its inhibition for CYP 2D6 and enhancement of CYP 3A4 to some extent. Due to this reason, simultaneous use of potent CYP 3A4 inhibitors such as ketoconazole and ritonavir is not suitable. This medication should also not used simultaneously with monoamine oxidase inhibitors, serotonin reuptake inhibitors, tricyclics and other serotonin drugs. If you are dealing with heart issues like heart failure, conduction abnormalities or significant ischaemic or valvular disease then you should inform your doctor before you start taking this medication. Do not take this medication with sedative drugs, it may increase some of its side effects such as somnolence and dizziness.

The side effects of Poxet 60mg may include symptoms such as blurred vision, buzzing in the ears, fast heart beat, increase in blood pressure, erection problems, dizziness, nervousness, confusion, excessive sweating, headache, diarrhoea, excessive tiredness, dry mouth, anxiety, decreased libido, abnormal dreams, sleepiness, nausea, or vomiting. Some of its side effects are mild and may fade away with time but if you experience severe symptoms then consult the doctor.
